Cris Azevedo
Born in the city of São Paulo, graduated in industrial design at FAAP, she worked for several years as product design in large Brazilian textile companies creating, developing and producing fashion collections, prints for fabrics and products. In 2006 she moved to live with her family abroad. From the country where he dedicated herself exclusively to photography and product research. Back in 2007, she started to develop and produce her own prints for papers and exclusive products. In 2012 she was selected from among several artists to exhibit her "Orelhão" in São Paulo at the first Vivo Call Parade. With her eyes always focused on shapes, colors and designs, in 2014 she launched her first porcelain collection with exclusive authorial designs. -“I launched 3 collections at once”: The first was in honor of the old tiles from the stores and demolitions that I called “Vintage Emotions” – souvenirs from the past to be kept and with them I made a series of trays and also cubes to be used as side tables. The second collection I called “Urban Emotions” – looks at the neighborhoods of the city of São Paulo. A city full of inspiration: From visiting museums or even strolling through the neighborhood where I live. And the third collection “Rural Emotions” – looks around the city of São Paulo, came from inspirations from weekends, when I'm traveling... I launched in 2015, for pet lovers like me, the “Pet Lovers” collection, with 6 dog breeds: Lhasa, Paulistinha, Bull Terrier, French Bulldog and Shetland Shepherd and also 6 beautiful plates decorated with cats: Vic, Gaya, Shampoo, Kyra, Mimi and Zoe... Impossible not to fall in love. And the Pets gallery... It only grows! Now in 2016 she launched the collection "Rural Emotions" - Heaven and also a series of Brazilian Butterflies that, like all my other dishes, can be used for tableware (table set).
